Step Six: Notice Budget Changes

If we look at the categories now, you will see that rent has been changed to reflect our ledger input. Now, if we underspend in a category like phone, we have money in the spent side and money left in the available side. But, if we overspend, say we spent $100.00 in the utility category, the budget highlights the negative amount.
