Step Seven: View Following Month

The last thing to look at will be the next month. For this example, I have clicked on the "Feb" tab at the bottom of the page. Notice that the balance auto transfers to each category accordingly. We had money left in phone, so now we have more available than we budgeted. But in utilities, we have less because we spent too much in January. You can readjust budget amounts each month to keep up with needs, but remember, the goal is to spend what you budget! If you underspend, money keeps adding up in your monthly balances. Then, at the end of the year, you can put that money in savings and start all over again!
