Just remember, if you are married and you get together and agree on a budget,
you then are accountable to the budget, not each other.
This can remove great amounts of stress in the marrige.
If you are single, it will build a firm foundation for good stewardship.
And if you find that certain someone, think how happy they will be that you are responsible with your finances.
Also, a budget is a guide, not THE LAW!
Give it a few months and make some adjustments as you see where spending needs to increase and decrease.
It's a tool to help you grow in financial peace, not to hold over someone's head.
